Rhytidectomy (face lift)
What is a rhytidectomy?
A Rhytidectomy or facelift is a cosmetic surgical procedure that restores the skin reducing sagging and improving the signs of aging in the face and neck, creating a more youthful appearance. This surgery is ideal for people who want to improve signs of facial aging, like saggy, wrinkly skin and jowls.
What should I expect?
During a facelift, a flap of skin on each side of the face is peeled back and the tissues below the skin are altered in order to restore the contour and youthful appearance of your face. Fat in the skin may be sculpted, removed, or redistributed. The procedure typically takes 2-4 hours to complete.
What does recovery look like?
The recovery process depends on the procedure and your overall health. Bruising and swelling may take a couple of weeks to go down, and it may take a couple of months to feel like your face is fully back to normal.
Platysmaplasty (neck / lower face lift)
What is a plastysmaplasty?
Platysmaplasty, or neck lift, is a surgical procedure that improves visible signs of aging along the jawline and neck due to genetics, environmental conditions, and stress. This surgery is ideal for people who want to reduce wrinkling and fat presence on their chin and neck.
What should I expect?
During a neck lift, you can expect either local anesthesia or general anesthesia depending on what Dr. Little decides is best for you. A small incision is made and specialized equipment is used to remove fat from the jawline and chin.
What does recovery look like?
After your neck lift surgery, you will have a bandage wrapped around your face and neck to minimize bruising and swelling. A thin tube may be present to drain any excess fluid. Your surgeon will give you specific instructions to take care of the surgery site. A follow-up appointment will be required.
Blepharoplasty (upper / lower eyelid surgery)
What is a blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty, or upper / lower eyelid surgery, is a surgical procedure that improves the function and appearance of the eyes by manipulating the tissue around it.This surgery is ideal for people who want to get rid of sagging, drooping skin around the eyes.
What should I expect?
During upper / lower eyelid surgery, excess skin and fat around the eyes are removed to eliminate puffiness or bags under the eyes. An upper blepharoplasty usually takes 2 hours. If both upper and lower eyelids are done together the procedure will take about 4 hours.
What does recovery look like?
Recovery from blepharoplasty is usually unremarkable. Swelling and bruising peak at 48 to 72 hours after the surgery with the majority disappearing within 7 to 10 days.
Rhinoplasty (nose job)
What is a rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty, or nasal reshaping or a 'nose job,' is a surgical procedure that changes the size, shape, and proportions of the nose. This surgery is ideal for people who want to reshape their nose, remove unwanted bumps, and improve crooked angles.
What should I expect?
During a nose job, a small incision is made on the underside of the nose to view and manipulate the internal nasal structure. The procedure typically takes 1.5-3 hours to complete.
What does recovery look like?
Rhinoplasty is a relatively safe and easy procedure, and healing from it can take up to one year. Please note that the tip of the nose is especially sensitive, and in some cases, patients may numbness and swelling for several months.
Brow Lift
What is a brow lift?
A brow lift or forehead lift is a surgical procedure that corrects deep creases in the forehead, frown lines between the eyebrows, and sagging, 'hooded' eyebrows. This surgery is ideal for people who want to reverse the effects of aging by tightening the soft tissues of the forehead to restore a more youthful contour to your forehead skin, upper eyelids, and eyebrows.

Depending on your desired results, Dr. Little will choose the location of incisions, which range from behind the hairline to directly above the browline. From the incisions, segments of tissue and muscles that cause wrinkles and furrows are manipulated, and the wound is closed with stitches or staples. This procedure typically takes about 1-3 hours to complete.
What does recovery look like?
Padding and bandages are placed over the surgical site. Most people are able to return to work within 1-2 weeks. A follow-up appointment will be necessary.
Otoplasty (cosmetic / reconstructive ear surgery)
What is otoplasty?
Otoplasty, or cosmetic ear surgery, is a surgical procedure to alter the ear's size, position, or proportions. This surgery is ideal for people who want their ears to be more symmetrical, smaller, or want to lessen how far the ears protrude from the head.
What should I expect?
Depending on the type of correction needed, Dr. Little will determine the best method of making incisions to reduce scarring. Common incision areas include the backs or inner creases of the ears. Excess tissue is removed from the incision and the ear's cartilage is repositioned and secured with deep inner stitches. This procedure typically takes about 2 hours to complete.
What does recovery look like?
Bandages are placed over the ears and full recovery generally happens in 4-6 weeks post-procedure. Swelling and itching are expected and resolve within a few weeks. A follow-up appointment will be expected.
Earlobe Repair Surgery
What is earlobe repair surgery?
Earlobe repair surgery is a procedure to correct and reshape the lowest part of the ear. This surgery is ideal for people who have earlobes stretched, split, or damaged by earrings, gauges, or sudden earlobe trauma.
What should I expect?
During earlobe repair, Dr. Little will determine the best method of making incisions, trimming excess tissue, reshaping the area, and closing the wound. Earlobe repair surgery is done in an outpatient setting, under local anesthesia, and takes 30 to 60 minutes to complete.
What does recovery look like?
Most patients are able to drive themselves home and return to work or normal activity with minimal downtime. Swelling and itching are expected and resolve within a few weeks. A follow-up appointment will be expected.
Scar Revision Surgery
What is scar revision surgery?
Scar revision is a plastic surgery to improve a scar's appearance and condition. This applies to raised, thick, discolored scars, keloids, and contractures. This surgery is ideal for people who are bothered by a scar anywhere on their body.
What should I expect?
During scar revision, you can expect either local anesthesia or general anesthesia depending on what Dr. Little decides is best for you. Careful incisions are made around the scar and closed with layered or advanced, complex closure techniques. This procedure can take as little as 30 minutes to one hour or longer to complete based on the type of scar.
What does recovery look like?
Dressings are placed on the wound and full recovery can takes several months to a year for final results, as new scars heal and fade gradually. Swelling and itching are expected and resolve within a few weeks. A follow-up appointment will be expected.

Your initial visit is spent with a physician and specialist to configure your treatment plan. From there, visits consist of quick, routine treatments that take 90 seconds to deliver. Our clinicians will monitor the cancer site to ensure your comfort and treatment progress.
Minimal wound care is needed. You may notice redness and “protective scabbing” but can expect to resume normal activity after each treatment. Upon completing your treatment plan, you will have a 6-week follow-up appointment with a physician to confirm you’re healing well.
