James "Jamie" Micheff, FNP is a Family Nurse Practitioner board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). He received his Master's of Science in Nursing (NP) and nursing degree (RN) from Southern Adventist University's School of Nursing and majored in Biology (BA) at Southern Adventist University. He joined our team in December 2017.

Jamie is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and taught surgical workshops at the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners Conference. Prior to dermatology, he worked as a nurse in the emergency department ICU for 10 years. His top clinical interests are:

1. Mohs surgery repairs
2. Excision of lipomas and cysts
3. Treating psoriasis
4. General dermatology

Jamie currently lives in Ooltewah with his wife Heather, daughter Sadie, and his two dogs, Kai and Rooney. He enjoys mountain biking, playing piano and guitar, woodworking, home improvement, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends.
